Swirl, Glide, Glimpse

With the dynamic interaction techniques of Swirl Design, items are presented in a chain of zoomable circles. It is based on the Steiner Chain, like the one at the top of the page. The circles can be made to swirl around (Swirl), grow when approached (Glide) or grow when given space (Glimpse). These techniques enable a user to intuitively control a large number of items in a small space.
